Digital Safety Training for Educators was an incredibly valuable training held at the Google campus in Sunnyvale. Moreland staff heard from the DA, police officers, high school principals, and counselors. We learned about the importance of educating our students when using technology at school and home. Google has also come out with their own Digital Citizenship course that you can check out. Be Internet Awesome!

Technology Workshops
Yesterdays technology workshops were so engaging and educational. We had so much fun learning about QR codes, Adobe Spark Suite, furthering our skills in Google Docs, and setting up Zearn. A huge thank you to Moreland teachers that presented Zearn. It's an amazing addition to Eureka Math! We can't wait to see how you use these programs!

Techstravaganza
What an amazing Technology PD we had on January 22nd! Working together and learning from our co-workers was both fun and rewarding. Our keynote speaker, Lisa Highfill, shared many incredible lessons with us. Here is a link to view them and copy them for your classroom! bit.ly/AHAresources

Each group was assigned a grade level to work on. The project will be focusing on Math Night at their school. Here they are hard at work:

CUE Rockstar TOSA Conference
A few of us were able to attend the CUE Rockstar TOSA conference this weekend in San Francisco. We saw some great (and funny) presentations discussing technology and ways to help our district and staff. We also went on a picture walk to create a photo collage of words we saw in everyday things.
