Latimer's annual Cardboard Day!

Early Literacy

Many first and second grade teachers attended an Early Literacy Training led by Susan Lavelle and Julie Bohn. These wonderful educators had the opportunity to learn about small group instruction through real life lessons, videos, and conversations. This group will be meeting throughout the year.

CBET Class

Our CBET classes are up and running at four school sites this year! These adult English classes are led by five amazing retires teachers- Stephanie Austin and Debbie Matsumura (Anderson), Helen Barrios (Baker), Irene Nishimoto (EDS), and Janice Gorman (Payne). We are so thankful for the support these teachers give to our community year after year!

Each class made an art project that guests could bid on at the silent auction.

Areas were set up for guests to create chalk art.
Students could create art with modeling clay.

Guests could look at individual student art from each class.
