The Ability Project

The Ability Project
A humbling inquiry into the lives of the physically and mentally challenged

I had the amazing opportunity to observe Cristin Reichmuth's 8th grade ELA students while giving their final presentations. The students created Slides and when presenting they were were well spoken, thoughtful, and respectful of one another. Students were able to choose what they were researching and explained why they chose it. I was able to see presentations on Autism, Alzheimer's, Narcissism, and OCD. The most incredible part was when the presenters spoke about how this project has changed their thinking. Here are a few pictures of their project.

Techstravaganza

What an amazing Technology PD we had on January 22nd! Working together and learning from our co-workers was both fun and rewarding. Our keynote speaker, Lisa Highfill, shared many incredible lessons with us. Here is a link to view them and copy them for your classroom! bit.ly/AHAresources

Our website morelandtechstravaganza.weebly.com has resources to many of the Sessions from the day. Feel free to go look at ideas from Sessions you were not able to attend.

Thank you for helping make the day such a huge success.
