Makerspace PD

Payne's Spring Fun Run
Payne has started a new tradition this year! To support gender inclusion, all students participated in the Fun Run by racing against their entire grade level. Gold, silver, and bronze medals were awarded to the fastest students in each grade. It was a fun afternoon!

3rd-6th Grade Literacy Training
A group of 3rd-6th grade teachers spent the day at an incredible PD led by Tracy Dwyer and Megan Rabideau. The teachers learned about small group instruction with their fluent readers. Megan even modeled a lesson with a group of 5th graders that she has been working with.

GATE Enrichment Classes
GATE Enrichment classes were held around Moreland on January 23rd. The Chain Reaction Contraption, Coding with Legos, People I am Thankful For, Creative Writing, and Breakout Room were some of the classes that were offered. Thank you to all that participated in this fun afternoon!
